Window Safety Rules:
  1. Open the top of windows.
  2. Keep beds away from open windows.
  3. Do not push on screens.
  4. Do not stand, climb, or play on window sills.
  5. Do not play with window blind cords.

Officer Brett Lindemuth Talks to Kindergartners About Respecting Each Other's Space

Officer Brett ca me to our classroom on Wednesday, October 15, to talk with students about an important RES rule, “Respect Others.”  Officer Brett explained to students that it is not o.k. to touch someone else’s body or get your face in their face.  Officer Brett modeled how students could ask another person first, if they could shake hands with them. He continued to describe what respecting others means. Many thanks for helping our young scholars how to be a safe member of society.

Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 :Officer Brett Lindemuth visits our classroom

Officer Brett Lindemuth is the Richmond School Resource Officer (SRO). He spends Wednesdays at RES. On his first visit to our kindergarten classroom, he explained his uniform and the many tools that he carries on his vest and belt. Officer Brett Lindemuth told the students about his family and that he loves to sing.  The kindergartners had many questions for Officer Brett and were happy to get to know 
him better.
